What data we collect (right now)

• Email address — when you join the waitlist or contact us.

• Basic technical data/usage logs — IP address, device/browser info, pages viewed, timestamps; used for security, reliability and basic analytics.

• Messages you send us — if you email or use a contact form.

We do not collect special category data on this site (health, beliefs, etc.). We don’t sell your data. We don’t run ads or ad trackers.

How we use your data

• Waitlist & updates (marketing – with consent): to send early access info, product news, and Founding-Member offers.

• Operate and secure the site (legitimate interests): fraud/abuse prevention, debugging, analytics, service improvement.

• Legal compliance: to meet legal or regulatory obligations.

• Consent — emails to the waitlist / marketing. You can withdraw anytime via the unsubscribe link in every email.

Where your data goes (processors)

We use trusted service providers (processors) to run this site:

• Framer (website hosting & forms)

• Zapier (form automation)

These providers may process data in the UK, EU, and/or US. Where data is transferred outside the UK/EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (or equivalent safeguards).

If we add or change vendors, we’ll update this page.

Retention

• Waitlist email addresses: until you unsubscribe or 24 months after the last interaction — whichever comes first.

• Server/analytics logs: typically 30–90 days (provider defaults).

• Support emails/messages: up to 24 months for reference and fraud prevention.

  
  

Your rights

Subject to law, you can:

• Access your data, correct it, erase it, or restrict/object to processing.

• Port your data (receive it in a portable format).

• Withdraw consent at any time (unsubscribe link in emails).

• Complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK, that’s the ICO (ico.org.uk). Please contact us first at hello@serenifyapp.org and we’ll try to resolve it quickly.

  
  

How to exercise your rights

Email hello@serenifyapp.org from the address you used with us and tell us what you’d like to do (e.g., access, delete). We’ll respond within 30 days.

Cookies & similar tech

We use essential cookies and limited analytics necessary to operate and improve the site. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add non-essential cookies later, we’ll update this policy and (where required) ask for consent.

Children

This site and waitlist are intended for adults (16+). We don’t knowingly collect children’s data.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data (TLS in transit, access controls, least-privilege accounts). No system is 100% secure.

International users

Your data may be processed in the UK/EU/US by our processors under appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). If we appoint an EU representative, we’ll add those contact details here.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page if our practices change. We’ll adjust the effective date above and, for material changes, notify the waitlist by email.
